WCS Offering Thinking for a Change Facilitator Training - July 2021
Thinking for a Change (T4C) Facilitator Training - July 2021
WCS is excited to offer Thinking for a Change Facilitator Training in July. Thinking for a Change (T4C) is an integrated cognitive behavioral change curriculum developed by the National Institute of Corrections (NIC) that concentrates on changing the criminogenic thinking for justice involved individuals. In fact, T4C is the best evidence-supported cognitive intervention program for justice involved individuals in the United States, having proven through controlled studies and meta-analyses that its curriculum reduces recidivism to a statistically significant degree.
WCS has been delivering the T4C curriculum to its participants for several years and has made the investment to send several staff to NIC’s T4C Train the Trainer program to ensure the agency has the internal capacity to train facilitators both internally and externally. WCS will be offering a hybrid T4C Facilitator Training in July with six virtual and three in-person sessions.
Virtual sessions will be held Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, July 13 to 22, from 8:00 am to 10:30 am.
In-person sessions will be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, July 28 to July 30, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The trainings will be held at the WCS Administrative Building, 3732 W. Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee.
The cost is $625 per person which must be paid in advance.
