Recovery Support Coordination Supervisor
Duties
This position will serve as the Recovery Support Coordination Supervisor. Assists in overseeing coordination of AODA treatment and recovery support services for individuals returning to the community from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections facilities or involved with DOC Community Corrections Probation and Parole. May also serve consumers in the general population.
DUTIES:
Ensuring Recovery Services Coordination procedures are being followed. Be knowledgeable of procedures. Work closely with the Central Intake Unit and be a liaison between them and Recovery Support Coordination.
Assist Recovery Service Coordinators with questions, issues, and ongoing training. Ensure coverage for absent team members. Bring to the immediate attention of the Program Director any issues or irregularities regarding personnel issues or policies and procedures.
Train new staff and interns. Assist in coordinating training and activities relevant to staff development. Maintaining program standards through case review and quality assurance.
Responsible to oversee referrals from the Central Intake Unit. Assign to RSC staff as appropriate. Review Single Coordinated Care Plans, Service Authorization Requests, Court letters and other documents. All documents should be complete and free from errors (including spelling and grammar). Consult with Program Director if issues occur.
Conduct the weekly billing and oversight of SARS for billing.
Conduct quality assurance reviews of files to ensure that program policies and procedures are being followed and in order to pass audits.
May carry a small caseload of up to 10 cases and follow procedures for Recovery Services Coordinator. Attend meetings and trainings as required. Includes meetings with the Behavioral Health Division regarding program updates or changes. Build & maintain external communication with appropriate entities.
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, or Human Services required. Combination of experience and degree preferred. Knowledge of AODA issues and treatment and Wraparound Philosophy a plus. Valid Wisconsin Driver's License, automobile insurance and access to an automobile required. Requires some travel. Must be able to use a computer and type a minimum of 35 WPM. Must be able to pass a background check.
